Student Experience

At Pepperdine Law, we emphasize hands-on learning and individual support to reinforce the legal and mediation skills students need to advance in their careers. Students can choose between a Master of Legal Studies degree and a Master of Dispute Resolution degree to best match their career goals. Our virtual campus and comprehensive support services are designed to help students become well-versed in practical law applications and conflict resolution. The convenience and flexibility of our online learning format enables students to continue working in their current roles while also building new skills and credibility with partners and employers.

Throughout their time in Pepperdine Law’s online programs, students will have access to Lexis Advance®, an extensive legal research database. Students can inform their legal writing and research with information on state cases, regulations, state statutes and legislation, charters, and rules. Also included in their access is citation assistance, analysis, and practical guidance from attorneys.

Students interact with one another and their professors each week in face-to-face classes held via HD video in interactive online classrooms.
